It pays homage to Christian Dior's great dream: the Château de la Col Noire , his retreat in Provence, where he found peace away from the hustle and bustle of Paris and designed his future collections. In this estate, Dior himself cultivated vast fields of flowers and almond trees, whose blossoming and fragrance accompanied him every winter and became one of his favorite memories.
Inspired by Christian Dior's beloved South of France, Francis Korkdjian created for La Collection Privée the
Dior Paradise – a new olfactory chapter celebrating the landscapes of Provence, the sunlight and the designer's memories of his private paradise.
The fragrance opens with a radiant and fresh mandarin note, which blends with the delicate and slightly bitter roundness of the almond note. The balanced and mesmerizing heart of the fragrance is enhanced by a woody-floral accord and a rich and enveloping tonka bean note, which gives it unforgettable depth and presence.
